CV2Success was set up by Dave Gibson. He has a diverse background comprising of 25 years in Information Technology, 6 years in IT Recruitment, 4 years in Business Management and Sales and most recently 5 years in CV Consultancy, Design and Production.

An early IT background was gained with British Rail mainly working on ICL and IBM mainframe systems. Later he moved into the Financial Sector working for two Building Societies, for which the final role was IS Operations & Technical Support Manager. His successes included the project management of the design and build of a Disaster Recovery site and overseeing the entire move of all Head Office computer hardware/systems to a new location.

In 1994, he took a position in IT Recruitment as an Account Manager and became a highly successful recruiter winning 18 new clients and at a peak had 37 contractors working out in the field as well as many permanent placements. Based on these excellent figures, he was promoted three times during this period.

Next stop was an IT Services Company in South Wales, where he was appointed as the Business Account Development Manager, tasked with increasing their sales. Here he successfully improved the company profile, client-base and general profitability.

Having developed a talent for documentation writing, he was asked by another company if he would be interested in adapting those skills to CV writing. This he did and was soon providing clients from various working backgrounds with both expert consultancy and most importantly, excellent quality CV’s. Having produced literally hundreds of successful CV’s and consistently delivered an effective client service and quality performance, he has received many outstanding testimonials, some of which you’ll find on this site.
